Each cask then aged from 2012 until the summer of 2019. The casks were shipped to Cognac, where a final blending was done in used Cognac barrels. The resulting elixir was bottled without additives, unfiltered, at a full proof cask strength of 46.8% ABV. In spite of the label, the whisky is actually now 8 years old. ‘We hit that print button early’, PM Spirits quipped. As you can imagine given the blend, the peat influence is subtle.
