Loire Valley Study

Loire Valley Study
This Thursday, December 4th, from 5-7 pm. We’ll be taking a focused dive into the Loire Valley with Jeff from Polaner Selections, exploring one of France’s most dynamic and varied wine regions. Stretching along the length of the Loire River, the valley is defined by a mosaic of soils, distinct microclimates, and a wide range of grape varieties and winemaking styles. It’s this diversity that makes the Loire such a compelling region to study—and to taste.

We will be pouring Sauvignon Blanc from Menetou-Salon, grown on Kimmeridgian marl bedrock covered by just fifty centimeters of topsoil; Chenin Blanc from Vouvray, sourced from deep clay over tuffeau limestone; and Cabernet Franc from Bourgueil, rooted in limestone-clay that lends both structure and lift.

We’re looking forward to exploring regionality, terroir, and style. We hope you can join us.

And yes—it’s FREE!

Can't wait to see you!
