Jose Luis Ripa Saenz de Navarrete
   2020 Rioja Ripa Rosado - 12 btls @ $39.99/btl
José Luis Ripa Sáenz de Navarrete produces this wine from a single hectare of vines in the Najerilla Valley, drawing on his deep experience within the traditional houses of Rioja Alta. The vineyard features 30-year-old bush-pruned vines planted in calcareous clay soil, and the blend is made from 70% Garnacha and 30% Tempranillo. In the glass, the wine shows a salmon-orange color with nuanced aromas of dried herbs, grapefruit, and a distinct mineral edge. Extended aging in used French oak barrels provides a savory depth and a textured, mouth-filling presence that distinguishes it from typical, younger rosés. This is a deliberate, slow-release style of wine that remains balanced and ready to enjoy now, offering significant value for those who appreciate a more serious, food-friendly expression.

Bermejos
   2025 Lanzarote, Listan Negro Rosado - 12+ btls @ $33/btl
Bodegas Los Bermejos is situated on the volcanic island of Lanzarote, where winemaker Ignacio Valdera and his team have spearheaded a viticultural revival since taking over the estate in 2001. To survive the extreme, arid conditions, the vines are cultivated in individual crater-like pits known as hoyos. The roots plunge through a thick layer of volcanic ash to tap into the nutrients beneath the top soil, while low stone walls protect the vines and fruit from the island's relentless winds. This 2025 release features bright notes of strawberry, orange oil, and saline minerality, offering a clean, structured texture that beautifully reflects its rugged terroir. A shop favorite and something we look forward to every year!
