In 2015, we opened our flagship retail shop in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood and just recently moved into a new location just down the street from the original location. The modern space, a former art gallery, is the perfect venue to showcase our favorite wines and spirits, and host informative tasting events. We select wines and spirits that span styles and regions to provide value at every level. While we're rooted in the classics, we're also excited by wines from unexpected places. Honesty, transparency, and exceptional customer service were our founding principles and they still serve as the foundation to every interaction with our clients today. We believe that our unwavering commitment to these principles coupled with our desire to share our passion, expertise and knowledge are what have fueled our journey thus far and will propel us into the future.

In Loving Memory

Billy Tornabene

It is with profound sadness, yet immense gratitude for his life, that we remember Billy Tornabene. Billy was far more than our CFO and spiritual leader; he was our founder, Matt Tornabene's big brother and best friend—a truly irreplaceable part of our lives and the Manhattan Wine Company family. He passed away on November 10, 2022, from complications due to colon cancer.

From 2009 to 2022, Billy's contributions were instrumental in shaping Manhattan Wine Company. Many of our clients will remember him well, having experienced his unwavering commitment to excellence in countless interactions. His meticulous attention to detail, legendary love for Excel spreadsheets, and profound work ethic weren't just foundational to who we are today—they set the very standard for our company. His spirit, enthusiasm, dedication to family, and pursuit of excellence will forever live with us and guide our future.

We honor his memory by continuing to pursue the dream of Manhattan Wine Company he helped us build, carrying forward his legacy with every step.
