Spontaneously fermented in a mix of 90% neutral French oak and 10% stainless steel, the wine ages for a year on its lees without battonage to prioritize structural tension over primary aromatics. The fruit is sourced from high-altitude mica-schist sites (500–600m) in the Cima Corgo, where the 2023 vintage’s uncharacteristically mild summer and steady ripening cycle preserved high-acid nerve and a compact mid-palate density. Anchored by Rabigato and Gouveio, this field blend exhibits a fine-grained, phenolic texture and a persistent saline finish that mirrors the mineral velocity of the region's schistous sub-strata.
