Passo delle Tortore was established in 2012 by five friends in the Irpinia hills of Campania, an estate now dedicated to expressing the tension and clarity of this historic region. The vines are grown in the clay and limestone soils of Lapio, a site situated at 540 meters above sea level that is widely recognized for its suitability for this variety. The wine offers precise notes of honey, linden flower, and white peach, supported by a distinctively waxy texture and a balanced, mineral-driven finish. The 2024 vintage maintained the characteristic high-altitude acidity of the site, resulting in a fresh and structured profile. This bottling is ready to enjoy tonight but possesses the internal tension to evolve with further time in the cellar.
