It is made from 100% Montepulciano grapes sourced from vines averaging over 50 years old, planted in the limestone-rich soils of Cugnoli at an altitude of 350 meters. Tiberio employs a minimalist approach, using only free-run juice after a brief cold maceration and fermenting with native yeasts in stainless steel to preserve the grape's pure expression.
