Widely held as a benchmark brut nature champagne, from two choice vineyards in the prime mid-slope vineyards of Vertus (Les Faucherets and Les Barillers). Ferments and ages in old oak, and generally sees 5 years of aging in cellar before release. Great energy, dry and racy, with the tiniest oxidative aromas to add complexity—gets a bit brioche-y and bruised apple, with oodles of minerality to boot.
