Altesse from the Savoie region (east of Burgundy). Young producer we tasted and fell for. They spent time in Rhone and New Zealand before returning home to Savoie and took over farming for a 5 ha vineyard. Love the texture and complexity here (and the 50+ yr old vines don’t hurt.), and with a great backbone/acidity to keep you salivating for more. It has appealing stony fruit and herbaceous notes.
