Pappy Van Winkle's, Kentucky Straight Bourbon Family Reserve 15YO

Pappy Van Winkle's Family Reserve 15 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon is a direct expression of the Van Winkle family's commitment to their distinct wheated mash bill, a choice that fundamentally shapes its unique structural profile. Distilled and aged at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, this bourbon benefits from the region's climate, which accelerates the maturation process in new, charred American oak. Barrels are meticulously selected from the heart of the aging warehouses, then left undisturbed for a full fifteen years to foster a profound depth. This extended maturation imbues the bourbon with a rich, full-bodied texture and a commanding oak presence, culminating in a balanced yet intense finish. The deliberate production choices yield a sophisticated bourbon with significant mid-palate density and a lingering structural integrity.
