From Domaine Del Cassou in Arthez-d'Armagnac, this Bas-Armagnac is distilled exclusively from Baco grown on the region’s iron-rich sables fauves soils. The 1999 vintage offered ideal climatic conditions, producing concentrated grapes and a base wine with both depth and balanced acidity—an excellent foundation for distillation. Baco, a variety particularly well adapted to these sandy soils, yields a spirit with notable structure and intensity.

After more than 22 years of aging in French oak, that natural power has evolved into a spirit of polished texture and layered complexity. Bottled by L'Encantada at cask strength, without additives or chill filtration, this release preserves the purity of its terroir and the character of the vintage. The result is an Armagnac that marries finesse with a firmly built, long-aged framework.
