Marie Noelle Ledru—often called the "Lady of Pinot"—has retired, making these bottles extremely rare. She was known for doing everything herself by hand in Ambonnay and avoiding chemicals long before it was trendy. This is her top wine, 100% Pinot Noir made entirely in steel tanks to preserve the fruit, not mask it with oak. Because 2005 was a warm vintage, this isn't a sharp, high-acid Champagne. It’s powerful and broad with a rich, textured mid-palate that shows just how ripe the Pinot got that year.
