The vines grow in gravel soils mixed with chalk, clay, and iron, providing the necessary drainage for a blend made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. In the glass, the wine exhibits complex notes of blackcurrant, tobacco, and espresso, framed by a rich texture and fine-grained, supportive tannins.
