2015 Domaine de Chevalier, Pessac-Leognan Cru Classe

Domaine de Chevalier is located in the town of Léognan, where it has been owned and managed by the Bernard family since 1983. The vineyards are situated on classic Graves gravel soils with clay-gravel subsoils, and this wine is made from 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot. In the glass, it reveals deep aromas of black cherry, cassis, and forest floor, supported by a dense structure and fine, velvety tannins. The 2015 vintage provided a warm, dry growing season that allowed the grapes to reach full phenolic ripeness, resulting in a wine with notable intensity and freshness. It is built for the cellar and will continue to evolve gracefully for many years.
