2015 Flavio Roddolo, Nebbiolo d'Alba

Sourced from the Bricco Appiani vineyard just outside the Barolo zone in Flavio's backyard, this is Nebbiolo that punches far above its weight. The 2015 vintage offers a ripe, fleshy core of dark cherry and wild plum, but thanks to new influence in the cellar, it sings with a vibrant, lifted aromatic profile. It’s accessible now but has the structure to evolve beautifully. This wine is aged exactly the same way as the Barolo. If you are looking for near-term drinking, this is your wine.
