Hundred Acre is a Napa Valley estate founded by Jayson Woodbridge, who established the winery in St. Helena in 2000 and gained recognition for his hands-on, self-taught approach to high-end wine production. This wine is made from Cabernet Sauvignon, utilizing a selection of barrels from the producer’s three primary estate vineyards to highlight the unique personality of each site. In the glass, it shows notes of dark fruit, tobacco leaf, and damp earth, supported by a full-bodied texture and fine-grained tannins. The 2016 vintage provided a steady, moderate growing season that allowed for consistent ripening and structural balance across the valley.
