2019 Harmand-Geoffroy, Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru

Domaine Harmand-Geoffroy is a family-run estate established in the late 19th century, located within the village of Gevrey-Chambertin. The wine is made from Pinot Noir grown in vines ranging from 40 to 70 years of age, which draw depth from the deep, complex soils of the Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru site. In the glass, it shows a dense profile of cassis, black cherry, and woodsmoke, supported by a structured, full-bodied texture. The 2019 vintage provided a warm growing season that resulted in a sappy, concentrated core with ripe, firm tannins.
