2018 Pian dell'Orino, Brunello di Montalcino, Vigneti del Versante

Pian dell'Orino is a top Brunello address and they were among the first to be certified biodynamic in Montalcino. Their star has risen exponentially in a relatively short time. Their wines are sleek and pure without being too polished.  Their Vigneti del Versante is always among the highlights of the vintage. As the name implies, this comes from a vineyard site with a steep grade, full of sandstone and clay-rich limestone.
