The Nebbiolo is sourced from the "Ori di Lessona"—ancient Pliocene marine sands with a uniquely low pH that establishes the wine's characteristic mineral tension. Vinification involves spontaneous fermentation in open wooden tini and a 28-day maceration, followed by 35 months of maturation in large 1,500-liter Slavonian oak casks. The 2019 vintage benefited from a long, cool growing cycle and a mid-October harvest, yielding a vertical structure defined by racy acidity and persistent, sinewy tannins. This structural precision results in a mid-palate of notable focus and a finish grounded in saline minerality rather than primary weight.
