2020 Chateau de Beaucastel Blanc, Chateauneuf-du-Pape

Château de Beaucastel, a historic estate in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation, has been managed by the Perrin family since 1909 and traces its roots in the region back to 1549. The vineyard is defined by its Miocene-era molasse soils covered in *galets roulés*, or rounded pebbles, and this wine is made from a blend dominated by Roussanne, with Grenache Blanc, Clairette, Bourboulenc, and Picardan. In the glass, it shows notes of white peach, apricot, and a characteristic saline minerality, presenting a full-bodied yet refined texture.
