The 2020 Joseph Dorbon—Ploussard, Vieilles Vignes, an Arbois AOC wine, represents an elegant, extremely satisfying expression of the Jura's signature Ploussard grape. This wine has a delicate, pale red and copper color with subtle crushed red cherry, pomegranate, cranberry, damp earth, and dried rose petals on the nose. The palate is incredibly silky, with ripe, bright red fruits, vibrant acidity, and a wonderfully mineral-driven, savory finish. Serve lightly chilled.
