Produced by Philippe and Catherine Cohen on their 4.8-hectare estate in Saint-Christophe des Bardes, this singular wine challenges Bordeaux conventions by utilizing a rare blend anchored by Merlot Blanc, alongside Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon, Muscadelle, and Chasselas. The fruit is hand-harvested from limestone soils and undergoes direct cold pressing before fermentation in 300-liter French oak cigar barrels with native yeasts. The 2021 vintage, characterized by its cooler temperatures and challenging conditions, allowed for the preservation of essential nerve and structural tension within the grapes.
