2021 Brovia, Barolo, Rocche di Castiglione

Roche is a high-altitude, southeast-exposure vineyard planted on sandy, calcareous marl soils, which produce an aromatic and elegant Nebbiolo. This has always been my favorite bottling from Brovia, a winery we’ve worked closely with now for a decade. The Brovia family, now in its fourth generation, is a pillar of traditional Barolo, farming organically and adhering to classic methods - long macerations, aging in large, used oak botti. Brovia's soft touch in the cellar and their vinification techniques perfectly capture the wine's silky, sensual, and deeply aromatic character. This is a showstopper.
