2021 Domaine Jean-Marc Pillot, Chassagne-Montrachet Rouge 1er Cru, Clos Saint-Jean

From a vineyard widely considered as the best terroir for Pinot Noir in Chassagne. This vineyard is high up on the slope. Pillot’s parcel is under ½  hectare and the vines are almost 100 yrs old! Great structure while still drinking nicely from the cooler ’21 vintage.
