Giacomo Conterno is the gold standard in Piedmont. 2021 is an extraordinary Piedmont vintage! Similar to 2016, the wines show very buoyant and clear fruit with fine, seamless tannins and balance. Piedmont is on a real tear this past decade, and ’21 will fall in with ’19, ’16, ’13, 10 etc., yet another blockbuster vintage.
