Produttori del Barbaresco is a historic cooperative based in the village of Barbaresco, where over 50 member growers have dedicated themselves to the region's traditions since the winery was founded in 1958. This wine is made from Nebbiolo grown in the Montestefano vineyard, a site characterized by its steep slopes and calcareous limestone soils that produce some of the most structured wines in the area. In the glass, it shows deep red fruit, notes of tobacco, and a firm, tannic framework that gives the wine its significant presence. The 2021 vintage benefited from cool spring conditions followed by a warm, dry summer, resulting in healthy, mature fruit with excellent polyphenolic concentration. This wine is built for the cellar and will continue to develop complexity over many years.
