2022 Bereche et Fils, Champagne, Reserve Brut (Disg. 06/25)

The Bérêche et Fils Brut Réserve Champagne is a superb expression of the region, meticulously crafted from a harmonious blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier grown across the diverse chalky and clay-limestone terroirs of the Montagne de Reims and Vallée de la Marne.  Stewarded by fifth-generation vignerons Raphaël and Vincent Bérêche, the domaine embraces natural viticulture, eschewing herbicides since 2004 and pursuing biodynamic practices to ensure vineyard health.Their precise winemaking involves individual parcel vinification, blocking malolactic fermentation, and extended aging under cork, all designed to showcase the purest essence of their sites.  The "solar" 2022 growing season, forming the base of this release, delivered ripe, healthy fruit; which, combined with the Bérêche brothers' attentive methods, results in a Champagne distinguished by both richness and a vibrant, well-preserved acidity.
