Sourced from organically farmed, old-vine Carricante in Milo and Biancavilla, the wine captures the duality of Etna’s Eastern and Southern slopes. Curtaz opts for stainless steel fermentation and nine months of lees aging to prioritize purity over winemaking artifacts. The 2022 vintage, while dry, produced fruit of exceptional health; the high elevation of these plots preserved a razor-sharp acidity.
