Luis Anxo Rodríguez Vázquez established his bodega in 1988 in the Ribeiro appellation of Galicia, where he works to revive the region's historical viticultural traditions using his grandfather's original cellar. This wine is made from a single 1.2-hectare vineyard in the town of Ribadavia, planted on decomposed granite soil with a blend of the native grapes Treixadura, Godello, and Albariño. In the glass, it displays a distinct mineral character alongside notes of white pear and citrus zest, supported by a creamy, well-structured texture gained from aging in foudre. The 2022 vintage yielded a wine with notable intensity and focused acidity that highlights the site’s unique granite-driven profile. It is ready to enjoy now but possesses the balance and depth to evolve further with several years of additional bottle age.
