Adega A Barouta represents a meeting of minds in the Iberian wine landscape. It unites Fernando García and Daniel Gómez Jiménez-Landi—the duo famous for revolutionizing viticulture in the Sierra de Gredos—with Roberto Núñez, a Chilean agronomist deeply rooted in Galicia. Their project focuses on reviving old, mixed plantings in Ribeiro, where the region’s signature decomposed granite soils (sabrego) and Atlantic climate shape the wines.

The Ventoleiro Blanco captures this philosophy perfectly. A traditional field blend led by Treixadura, supported by Godello, Albariño, and Loureira, it is sourced from steep, well-drained slopes that impart natural tension. Fermented with native yeasts and aged in neutral vessels, the wine is a transparent, site-driven articulation of Ribeiro—clean, structured, and vibrant.
