Adega A Barouta represents a meeting of minds in the Iberian wine landscape. It unites Fernando García and Daniel Gómez Jiménez-Landi—the duo behind the revitalization of Gredos Garnacha—with Roberto Núñez, a Chilean agronomist deeply rooted in Galicia. Their project is defined by steep slopes, indigenous field blends, and a reverence for the region’s granitic soul.

The Ventoleiro Tinto is a pure expression of this philosophy. A blend of traditional Ribeiro varieties—Brancellao, Caiño Longo, and Sousón—it is sourced from old-vine parcels rooted in sabrego (decomposed granite). Shaped by the Atlantic climate and these lean, well-drained soils, the wine possesses a distinct vertical structure and energetic lift. Fermented with native yeasts and raised in neutral vessels, it is a transparent, site-specific red that captures the restraint and history of the Ribeiro.
