2023 Antoniotti Odilio, Coste della Sesia, Nebbiolo

Antoniotti Odilio and his son Mattia farm six hectares in northern Piedmont’s Coste della Sesia DOC, working traditionally and with a focus on vineyard health. Their Nebbiolo-based wines, co-fermented with local varieties, are vinified in a mix of cement, stainless steel, and large oak. Set in the Alpine foothills at 250–500 meters, the estate’s glacial, volcanic, and sandy soils—combined with significant diurnal shifts—help preserve Nebbiolo’s natural acidity. This is consistently a shop favorite.
