2023 Benedicte & Stephane Tissot, Arbois, Trousseau Singulier - Magnum

Bénédicte & Stéphane Tissot are the intellectual and viticultural think tank of the Jura. They make a multitude of site-specific wines in minuscule quantities. Singulier is 100% Trousseau, sourced from five different sites (including Les Bruyères, Les Corvées sous Curon). 100% destemmed. It's vibrant and medium-bodied, a cornucopia of red fruit and savory earthiness with a distinct crack of black pepper. The structure is elegant with light tannins and high acidity keeping it fresh and snappy, leading into a long, dry finish. A benchmark expression of Trousseau - perfumed, lifted, and textured, with the vivacity and fine tannins that make Tissot’s reds perennial favorites among wine professionals. The best iteration we’ve had of Singulier yet.
