Bertha's commitment to Penedès terroir manifests in organic, hand-harvested vineyards, crafting traditional method Cava Brut Nature with zero dosage. Sourced from the limestone and clay soils around Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, this Cava relies on the indigenous Macabeu, Xarel·lo, and Parellada varieties to express its origin. The challenging 2023 vintage in Penedès, characterized by significant drought and early ripening, led to notably lower yields and smaller berries. However, careful vineyard management and precise harvest timing ensured optimal physiological ripeness and retained the essential acidity levels required for Cava, resulting in a more concentrated yet structurally balanced wine with notable linearity.
