Founded in 1995 by Eric and Christine Nicolas, Domaine de Bellivière is a benchmark estate in the Loire Valley’s Coteaux du Loir appellation, where the family farms their 18 hectares using certified biodynamic practices. This wine is made from Pineau d’Aunis grapes, sourced from vines ranging from 25 to 45 years old that are planted in flinty clay soils over tuffeau limestone. In the glass, it shows an aromatic profile of wild strawberry, fresh herbs, and cracked black pepper, supported by a structured, velvety texture. The 2023 vintage offered a complex growing season that resulted in a balanced, expressive wine with clear varietal definition.
