Domaines Leflaive manages its Mâcon-Verzé parcels, including the Le Monté lieu-dit, with rigorous biodynamic farming to ensure deep-rooted vine health and authentic site expression. Following manual harvest, the fruit undergoes gentle pneumatic pressing in Verzé, after which the must is transported to Puligny-Montrachet for precise technical oversight during fermentation and élevage. The 2023 vintage, characterized by its balanced warmth and preserved acidity, allowed for a structured, tension-filled wine, largely vinified in cement vats with a controlled percentage of new oak for texture.
