For the 2023 "Les Charmes," this approach paid off beautifully. Despite a warm growing season, this wine remains incredibly fresh. It comes from a unique plot of stony soil right next to the Premier Cru slope, giving it a level of complexity rarely found in a village-level wine.

By using larger barrels and very little new oak, Raymond ensures that you taste the soil, not the wood. Expect a wine with a "vertical" energy—it hits the palate with drive and finishes with a salty, mouth-watering snap. It is a Meursault for purists.
