2023 Emmanuel Rouget, Vosne-Romanee

Vosne-Romanée sits at the heart of the Côte de Nuits, home to some of Burgundy’s most storied vineyards. Even at the village level the wines carry the signature of the place—supple texture, aromatic depth, and that unmistakable Vosne spice.

At Emmanuel Rouget, the fruit is fully destemmed and handled gently in the cellar, a style inherited from his uncle Henri Jayer. The 2023 shows red cherry, rose petal, and clove with the silky feel that makes Vosne such a reference point for Pinot Noir.
