2023 Foradori, Vigneti delle Dolomiti, Fontanasanta Nosiola

Elisabetta Foradori is a benchmark producer in the Dolomites. She is a champion of local grapes and proved that Teroldego when farmed and handled with care can produce world class wines. She single-handedly changed the reputation of Teroldego. This is 100% Nosiola (another local varietal) fermented in terra cotta amphorae where it spends 6-8 months and then aged in Acacia barrels. This has finesse and is not too tannic. Great at the table.
