The domaine is a benchmark for the region, noted for its pioneering and meticulous regenerative farming practices that go beyond organic/biodynamic to actively rebuild soil health. Francois Chidaine has long been one of our go-to producers for some of the most compelling Chenin Blanc coming out of the Loire, and his wines today are finer and more dialed in than they've ever been. Between his impeccable farming and decades of experience making natural wines, it is no surprise these are some of our most treasured bottles of Chenin. This bottling, Les Bournais, lies on clay and limestone, and yields an intense, dry, full-bodied wine.
