Luís Seabra established his independent project in 2013 after a significant career in Portuguese winemaking, focusing his work on reclaiming historical vineyards and emphasizing site-specific terroir. The grapes for this wine come from sustainably farmed vines planted in 1989 in the granite soils of Paderne, Melgaço. In the glass, it presents a taut, mineral-driven profile with notes of lemon peel, green apple, and a distinct saline quality that provides a chiseled, textural structure. The 2023 vintage reinforces this focused character, resulting in a wine defined by its precision and persistent, mouthwatering finish. It is ready to enjoy now but possesses the balance to evolve further in the cellar.
