Sourced from the organically and biodynamically farmed Bracken Vineyard, this Chardonnay captures the raw energy of the Eola-Amity Hills. The high-altitude site (630–750 ft) sits on complex volcanic soils and is directly exposed to the cooling winds of the Van Duzer Corridor, ensuring deep concentration and electric acidity. The 2023 vintage was warm and dry, delivering perfectly ripe fruit that Shelby Perkins Harter shepherded with a light hand. She utilizes native yeast fermentation and gentle oxidative handling at the press to build stability and texture. Aged in carefully prepared French oak (rinsed to ensure neutrality), the wine is a study in precision: it offers a crystalline texture, distinct salinity, and a linear, coiled structure built for the long haul.
