Fifth generation grower Pierre doesn’t follow fads and makes wine the way his family always has - long, slow fermentations using native yeast, and aging in old foudres with no chaptalization and little filtration. Poncie are 35 years old, low yielding vines on the pink granite soil this Cru is known for. Pleasurable right out of the gate with juicy seamless fruit - the hallmark of well-made Beaujolais.
