The Meursault "Le Tesson" originates from a revered village climat on a steep, stony, limestone-rich slope, whose shallow soils naturally limit vine vigor and yield. The 2023 growing season, characterized by a warm overall year with a notably cooler summer, facilitated thorough physiological ripeness while preserving a lively acidity and structural tension in the Chardonnay. This results in a wine exhibiting a precise, "vertical" minerality and energetic palate, shaped by spontaneous fermentation and extended aging on fine lees in barrel, reflecting its unique geological imprint.
