2023 Roland Lavantureux, Chablis, Vauprin

Vauprin is one of the highest elevation vineyards in all of Chablis – slightly cooler microclimate yielding fruit with vibrant acidity and pronounced minerality. Stainless steel ferments followed by used barrel ageing produces an electric, refreshing wine here that punches above it’s modest classification. This offers a ton of value and they consider this to be as good as many of their 1er Cru holdings.
