2023 S et JP Agisson, Pouilly-Fume, La Belle Endormie

Stéphanie and Jean-Philippe Agisson founded the domaine in 2017, after Jean-Philippe spent time at Didier Dagueneau and Alphonse Mellot. “La Belle Endormie” comes from Les Champs Billards in Tracy-sur-Loire, a parcel planted in 1987 on Portlandian limestone with large pebbles. Sauvignon Blanc is aged on the lees in neutral barrels, giving the wine more texture than a standard stainless-steel Pouilly-Fumé without pushing oak. Citrus, stone and a little Loire smoke.
