2023 Testut, Chablis, 1er Cru Montee de Tonnerre

Domaine Testut is a historic family estate in the heart of Chablis, led today by Cyril Testut who preserves generations of traditional farming. Made from old vines rooted in the classic Kimmeridgian limestone and clay soils of the right bank, this premier cru site sits directly adjacent to the region's grand crus. The wine offers a vibrant nose of lemon and pink grapefruit alongside a distinct foundation of wet stone minerality. The 2023 growing season delivered a fresh, balanced structure with high energy and persistent length. This bottle is ready to enjoy soon or rewards short-term cellaring for those seeking classic regional depth.
