2023 Thomas-Collardot, Puligny-Montrachet, Les Nosroyes

Domaine Thomas-Collardot, led by Jacqueline and Matthieu, farms their 0.27-hectare parcel of Les Nosroyes organically, focusing on expressing terroir through attentive vineyard work and a restrained cellar approach, using indigenous yeasts and extended élevage in 350L barrels. Lying just below the 1er Cru Perrières, this Puligny-Montrachet lieu-dit is rooted in stony, east–west–facing clay-limestone soils at 240 meters, and is planted to Chardonnay vines dating back to 1960.

The warm, generous 2023 growing season demanded careful timing to preserve tension, and the domaine’s precise harvesting ensured the wine retains a vibrant, driving core of tartaric acidity. The resulting Chardonnay marries ripe, supple fruit with a firm structural spine, offering both generosity and definition. It is a clear expression of the Collardot philosophy—purity, transparency, and an unadorned articulation of site.
