Brothers Marc and Alexandre Bachelet founded their domaine in 2005 in Dezize-lès-Maranges, building on a deep family history that traces back to their grandfather, who was a vigneron in Chassagne-Montrachet. This village-level wine is made from Chardonnay grown across multiple parcels in the commune, where the vines average 30 years of age in limestone-rich soils. In the glass, it displays distinct notes of white flowers, ripe pear, and a stony, mineral tension that defines its structured mouthfeel. The 2024 vintage was a challenging, wet growing season that ultimately yielded wines with exceptional acidity and a classical, energetic profile.
