2024 Bedrock Wine Co., Sonoma Valley, Bedrock Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Bedrock Wine Co. farms the historic Bedrock Vineyard in the heart of Sonoma Valley, a site originally planted in 1854. Made from vines planted in 1995, this single-vineyard bottling marks the producer's first dedicated release of this wine since 2010. The full-bodied palate displays pure scents of chocolate-covered cherries, aniseed, cigar box, and bay leaves, structured by firm, grainy tannins and refreshing acidity. The 2024 vintage yields a concentrated, nuanced, and well-integrated profile shaped by maturation in 50% new oak. This bottle offers immediate depth for current drinking while retaining the structure required for long-term cellaring.
